This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how Posh Plum Consulting LLC and its registered trade name d/b/a Posh Plum Specialty Sweets (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) processes Personal Data that we collect from you (“Subscriber”) as a Controller. This Policy applies to data collected via posh-plum.com, poshplumsweets.com, and through our in-person service points.

 

DEFINITIONS

  • “Controller”: The legal person which determines the purposes and means of processing Personal Data.

  • “Personal Data”: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

  • “Service(s)”: Consulting Services, Strategic Staffing Engagements, Specialty Bakery Services, and Ad Hoc Projects.

  • “Specialty Bakery Services”: The production, sale, and delivery of handcrafted baked goods and confectionery items.

 

DATA COLLECTION

The Subscriber directly provides the Company with the data we collect from the following sources:

  • Contact and Inquiry forms across all Company domains.

  • Free Consultation Booking Form (via Calendly).

  • Specialty Bakery Services mailing list sign-up forms.

  • Kibako Change Gauge and PMO Health Guide access forms.

  • Correspondence received via Company email addresses (info@posh-plum.com, orders@poshplumsweets.com).

  • Online order forms and Point-of-Sale (POS) interactions.

  • Civ Card Game Engine (CCGE) Inventory Data for strategy simulation.

 

PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

The Company processes Personal Data for purposes including:

  • Direct Engagement: Scheduling consultations and delivering assessment reports.

  • Order Fulfillment: Managing Specialty Bakery Services, coordinating hyperlocal delivery, or managing pickup logistics.

  • Marketing: Sending promotional communications regarding our consulting frameworks (Kibako, Sumomo) and our seasonal bakery offerings.

  • Assessment: Analyzing organizational readiness for change.

     

SHARING OF PERSONAL DATA

We use third-party service providers who act as Data Processors. We have Data Processing Addendums in place to ensure compliance with data protection laws.

  • Fractional Services Platform (Shiny): For engagements initiated via Shiny, the platform processes data to facilitate service agreements. Shiny Privacy Policy

  • Payment Processing (Stripe, Wix Payments, Talech & Zelle):

    • Stripe & Wix Payments: Handle online credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Information is sent directly to the processor via encrypted connections.     • Talech: Facilitates in-person POS transactions for bakery services. Talech Privacy Policy

    • Zelle: Utilized for direct bank transfers; only info needed to verify receipt is processed. Zelle Privacy Policy

  • Order Fulfillment & Hyperlocal Delivery: We personally manage the fulfillment and delivery of bakery orders. Your delivery information is not shared with third-party courier services.

 

INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Personal Data may be processed in the United States. For subscribers in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we implement safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

 

YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS

Depending on location, you may have the right to Access, Rectification, Erasure, Restriction, Objection, Data Portability, and Withdrawal of Consent. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@posh-plum.com.

 

RETENTION AND SECURITY

We retain data as long as there is an ongoing legitimate business need. We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, consistent with our history of managing high-stakes, regulated accounts.
